In winter months, Sandusky Ohio USA Dance Chapter 2094* usually holds a dance on the 3rd Saturday of each month in the grand upper ballroom of historic old Milan Township Hall, built in the 1800's and located at 24 Park Street, Milan, Ohio, 44846.
2018 summer dances will be in the spacious air-conditioned activities center "The Rock" of Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 430 Main Street, in Huron, Ohio 44839. Dances will be on June 16, July 21 and August 18. Please park in church lots on both Main Street and Huron Street, across from Gull Harbor and Harbor North Marina. "The Rock" will seat hundreds of people comfortably, and the dance floor is slightly larger than huge. Ladies please dance in shoes without spike heels. There are hundreds of yachts in the marinas nearby, and their owners and guests are welcome to drop in, and see what is happening. You might like ballroom dancing! Dress to suit your mood. Additionally, chapter members dance at county fairs and senior centers and at local high schools. We hope that our posters and newsletter help traveling USA Dance members from other chapters find dancing opportunities, and a chapter representative will enthusiastically talk about local opportunities if you call 419-929-1114.
Complimentary dance lessons, when offered, are included with the cost of admission and are free at the Milan venue. However, a donation is appreciated. The suggested donation is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
Doors open at 6:30 pm with a potluck and finger food party. Snacks, soft drinks and ice water are provided. The lesson begins at 7 pm, followed by open dancing, mixers and demonstrations until 10 pm.

How You Can Help
It's easy and fun. Attend the monthly dances. Sandusky Chapter 2094 invites members to volunteer their special skills and their enthusiasm for dancing. The important thing is to attend the dances and let board members know if these functions meet your expectations.
Members can volunteer to help during functions by welcoming arrivals at the door, setting up tables, chairs and refreshments, and making newcomers feel welcome.
Members help with publicity, event planning, writing the newsletter, or rearranging the ballroom furniture after our dances....... but first and foremost, GET ON THE DANCE FLOOR at every opportunity!
Volunteers help with our primary activity, which is making regular winter dances happen locally in a grand old traditional ballroom. Some dancers say that it is like being magically transported by a time machine back into the 1800's.....Whoooosh!!!....a great place to introduce your friends and acquaintances to the joy and romance of ballroom dancing.
Invite others to attend chapter events and encourage them to become members of USA Dance Chapter 2094.
Bring people with you!
*USA Dance is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, national organization committed to improving the quantity and quality of ballroom dance in the United States. USA Dance sanctions dance competitions and participants must be members of USA Dance to compete. USA Dance volunteers work at these activities and educate the public about the physical, mental and social benefits of dance. The Sandusky chapter is where dancers can participate in all these things and more locally.
